At St. Mark's, we're excited to offer a vibrant and inclusive Youth Group and Confirmation Program tailored to the unique needs and interests of our young members. Our program is designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for all, embracing diversity in every form.
What We Offer:
Inclusive Environment: St. Mark's stands as a beacon of inclusivity. We welcome individuals of all races, gender expressions, sexual orientations, and family dynamics. Our teachings and practices reflect this deep commitment to acceptance and understanding.
Experienced Guidance: With a rich background in youth mentorship and spiritual education, our leaders are dedicated to fostering the spiritual and personal growth of each participant. Our team's diverse experience, ranging from social work to creative arts in children's ministry, enriches the program.
Youth Group and Confirmation Combined: We merge Youth Group and Confirmation for a cohesive experience that respects busy schedules. Confirmation lessons will be integrated into Youth Group activities, offering a blend of fun, learning, and spiritual exploration.
Reflective and Engaging Activities: Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including games, discussions, and lessons that align with the sermon explored in our main services. This approach ensures that the entire family can connect over shared stories and teachings.
Schedule and Location: Youth Group meets every Sunday after our 10 am service in our youth wing, for an hour of engaging and meaningful activities.
No Fees, Open to All: There is no fee to participate in our Youth Group/Confirmation program. We encourage participants to invite their friends to join in the fun and learning!
Field Trips: St. Mark's is known for its vibrant external events that range from apple picking and pumpkin patch visits to exploring pet and reptile stores and Japanese grocery stores. We also host video game nights and more, providing a wide range of experiences for our youth.
