Full Seder Dinner
Join us on Maundy Thursday, March 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, for a full Seder dinner led by the esteemed Jewish educator, Chaplain, and Coordinator of Jewish Care Services at JourneyCare, Rhonda Levy Wehner. This event promises an enriching evening that delves into the profound traditions of the Seder, observed during Passover. It's an opportunity to explore the significance of each element of the Seder meal, under the guidance of an expert in Jewish education and pastoral care.
The Seder is a ceremonial dinner that commemorates the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, and it's filled with rituals meant to pass the story down from generation to generation. Attendees will experience the traditional readings, songs, and foods such as Matzah, bitter herbs, and charoset, each symbolizing different aspects of the Exodus story. This event requires an RSVP to ensure we can plan and accommodate everyone with the traditional foods and materials needed for the Seder. A modest fee of $10 per person is requested to cover the cost of the meal and materials. Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with the roots of Jewish heritage, learn about the deep meanings behind the Seder traditions, and share in a communal experience of remembrance and celebration. Whether you're deeply familiar with Jewish traditions or new to the Seder, all are welcome to join us for an evening of education, reflection, and community. RSVP today to secure your spot at this meaningful event. |
